This diverse group of individuals had varying summer opportunities, all of which were rich with new experiences. While all of their experiences expand across disciplines and settings, they each shared one integral element: the profound importance of data. What may initially appear to be an eclectic panel morphs into a kaleidoscopic tribute to the multitudes of data that reach far beyond customary STEM fields. Half of us worked in science - one of us worked with mice, another with inorganic materials. We also include a social sciences component - one working between organizations and the people they serve, another who worked with feminist histories. Emphasizing the many forms and functions of data, this group is ready to take YOU on a hot date with data!
