This beloved holiday performance features the combined MHC Choral Forces, Vocal Jazz, Chamber Jazz, and the English Handbell Ensemble. Since 1899, Holiday Vespers has been a popular tradition at Mount Holyoke College, during which the community comes together to celebrate light and togetherness on a dark and cold December night. Join us for holiday classics and new favorites, including music by Abbie Betinis, Joni Mitchell, Jake Runestad, Dale Trumbore, and traditional pieces from many holiday traditions.

Though doors open 35 minutes before the free show, some eager attendees line up an hour or more in advance, despite any winter chill. According to many gleeful attendees, this warm and inclusive event is Mount Holyoke College at its best.
