About this Event
As politics has become more deeply polarized in the United States, the very mechanisms of the democratic process — voting, conceding and transferring power — have been transformed into partisan issues, putting America's democratic foundations at stake. This class seeks to understand how the U.S. has arrived at this perilous point in history and what the future may hold for American democracy. Presented by Adam Hilton, assistant professor of politics.
