About this Event
Latin America is a region characterized by restrictive abortion laws. However, feminist movements are on the rise and are challenging the patriarchal norms that have ruled the region for quite a long time. This class will analyze the roots behind the criminalization of abortion and the current trends toward legalization in the region, with a particular focus in the Southern Core. Presented by Cora Fernandez Anderson, assistant professor of politics.
