About this Event
Corey Flanders
Associate Professor of Psychology and Education
Location: Cleveland, L3
Queer and trans existences are being forcibly erased from our education system across the nation, particularly in the context of sexual health education. This has a direct negative effect on the lives of queer and trans youth, but it also means worse sexual health for everyone else. This lecture will focus on the powerful benefits of sex education that is built on a foundation of queer and trans inclusivity, and what we all risk to lose with historical and current legislative measures aimed at eliminating this practice.
