Inaugural Department of Critical Race and Political Economy Barbara Smith Presidential Lecture.

Title of lecture: The Path to Combahee

Join Barbara Smith ’69 as she reflects on her time shaping the Combahee River Collective and co-authoring the Combahee River Collective Statement. Smith will also discuss the statement's relevance to today's issues, as well as the skills she developed at Mount Holyoke that helped her contribute to building Black feminism.

This event will also be livestreamed. Those who wish to watch the livestream will need to register.
