Bard Graduate Center

This is a past event.

For 25 years, Bard Graduate Center has been training the next generation of curators, researchers, and museum professionals. Our M.A. & Ph.D. in Decorative Arts, Design History, Material Culture offers a broad exploration of history through its material traces, drawing on the fields of art history, anthropology, archaeology, cultural history, and philosophy. Students come from a range of majors, including art history and anthropology, but also religious studies, gender and women's studies, sociology, and classics. BGC alumni work in museums and collections all over the world, and many of our graduates go on to highly competitive doctoral programs. Scholarships and fellowships are available.
