Mount Holyoke is honored to host Dr. David Karp for a BOOM keynote titled “Becoming a Restorative Campus” on Monday, April 15 from 5 to 6 pm.

Restorative Justice — a communal approach to prevent and respond to harm — is a global movement David Karp has helped to shape. Karp’s talk will explore what it means to build a restorative campus and how each of us in the Mount Holyoke community can live more restoratively.

There will be a book signing and reception to follow.

The first 50 Mount Holyoke students will receive a copies of three essential Restorative Justice texts – David Karp’s The Little Book of Restorative Justice for Colleges and Universities, Kay Pranis’ The Little Book of Circle Processes: A New/Old Approach to Peacemaking and Fania E. Davis’ The Little Book of Race and Restorative Justice: Black Lives, Healing, and US Social Transformation.
