The Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion invites all to join us in a two-part series focused on gender diversity.

Join the DEI Team and facilitator, Gabe Hall on a journey into the multifaceted world of gender expression and identity. This foundational session is designed to introduce participants to foundational concepts of gender (male, female, and beyond) and invite conversation around the ways that gender roles and expectations show up in our own lives.

Attendees will learn key terminology and gain insight into the historical and cultural contexts of gender diversity. Through reflective activities, small-group discussion, and real-life stories, this workshop aims to make complex ideas around gender understandable and accessible to all.

Whether you are new to the topic or are looking to refresh your understanding, all are welcome to join!

Please note: This activity invites audience participation via live engagement tools (PollEverywhere). These tools may be used in the web browser of your choice, but some people may prefer using a phone or additional mobile device to participate.
