Black Alumnae Conference

Standing on the Right Side of History: Black Women’s Leadership in Action

The Black Alumnae Conference was created by Black alumnae on campus in 1973. These visionary alumnae saw the need to bring Black alumnae and students together to reflect on their common experience and plan for the future of Black alumnae at Mount Holyoke. As a result of their steadfast dedication to honor the generations of students who have passed through the College’s historic gates, the Black Alumnae Conference was born.

The weekend will be filled with memorable and exciting conversations that reflect our holistic well-being as people, our connection as current students and alumnae across the gender diversity spectrum, and our collective response to social issues. Let’s join together in reflecting on our leadership and our roles in shaping the future.
