For our third section of the Black Scholar Series we will have Lutze Segu, Ph.D. candidate at the University of British Columbia, join us to discuss “Black Feminist Scholarship in the Digital Age.” Lutze will speak about her dissertation, which explores Black feminism beyond the academy. In her dissertation, Lutze is theorizing the idea of Black feminisms as a spiritual civic practice, digital Black feminism, and how to do public feminist scholarship. Q&A will be available.
