About this Event
Inclusive practices have the potential to increase the degree to which previously disenfranchised identities feel a sense of belonging to the education experience. It can also position instruction as a potent agent of change for future leaders who understand inclusion to be a core element of civic engagement. In this discussion we will unpack how such an approach operationalizes in a STEM classroom with implications for current and future visions of STEM teaching theory and practice.
