A proud descendant of Japanese American incarceration camp survivors, Jen Brock will share how her family's experience during World War 2 still resonates today, especially amid continuing questions about what it means to "be" American. From the model minority myth to the rise in anti-Asian hate to everyday micro-aggressions, Jen brings forward an important part of American history and the Asian American experience that is too often overlooked or ignored.
