About this Event
Despite many perceptions, most non-Muslims in the United States know little about the actual religion of Islam. In fact, it takes minimal information to break down the myths that many carry. What are the tenets of the faith who are its followers? What history tell us about Islam and its relationship to the Judeo-Christian tradition? This session for faculty and staff will share basic facts and information about Islam and explore the immense possibilities to bridge the divides.
