About this Event
For members of the class of 1965.
Julie’s story begins with learning to sail on a “Sunfish” at Crystal Lake, Michigan in the 1950’s. In the 1960’s and 70’s she sailed the waters of Long Island Sound between Connecticut and New York in an “Allied Seawind,” a ketch named “Cara.” And in 1980, she began her “live-aboard” years, sailing Long Island Sound and the New England coast, while commuting to work in the Bronx. During the next three decades she would invite her classmates (dubbed the “Mt. Holyoke Mafia”) to join her for a “Ladies Day”. Were you one of the lucky ones to sail with Julie at the helm? Come to the mini and tell us all about it!
