5C Queer Trans Sexuality Certificate presents Coming Out for Community, Coming Out for the Cause: Queer Palestinian Activism in the 1990s

Dr. Cable (they/them) is an assistant professor in the Arab and Muslim American Studies Program at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Their research and teaching interests span the fields of race and ethnic studies, film and media studies, decolonial feminist theory, and queer theory, with a particular focus on the roles that art, film, and media play in the mobilization of Palestine solidarity politics in the U.S.
