Celebrate the musical accomplishments of the Class of 2026!

The Commencement Concert features graduating senior soloists and instrumentalists, as well as performances by the Commencement Choir, the Vocal Jazz seniors and the choral ensemble seniors. Alums are always invited to join in at the end of the concert to sing the traditional “Good Night Song.”

Rehearsal for alums will be held from 4:30–5:30 pm in Abbey Chapel.

Event access:

• Location, paths of travel to the location, entry

  • The Chapel is very central to campus, if people come in through the main gate there will be visitor parking immediately to their right. To the left there will be a pathway leading past Mary Lyon hall and up to a door with a disability access button and ramp access. If they wish to come in through the main chapel entrance, if they go around the garden, turn left, and walk approximately 100 feet, the main door will be open for them. Hymnals will be located here for anyone who needs one to grab. But anyone with accessibility needs can request one be carried for or brought to them! 

• Bathrooms closest to space:

  • Bathrooms are conveniently located in the hallway next to the chapel. On the way in from the disability access door, guests will pass directly past the gender inclusive and accessible restrooms. From inside the chapel, there is an exit door on the left facing wall which will take them to the accessible bathrooms. Alternatively there are women’s and men’s restrooms in the lobby directly inside the main chapel door.

  • Seated, some standing encouraged but not required. No kneelers present or expected. Pews are comfortable but not incredibly size inclusive to folks with approx 50” waist and above.
