Getting Connected to the Data Science Community

This is a past event.

Data science has a wide network of communities.  In the spirit of open source, many are openly accessible.  In this talk, Reshama Shaikh, who has been active in a number of organizations, shares resources available in the data science community.

Reshama Shaikh is an independent data scientist/statistician and MBA with skills in Python, R and SAS. She has worked for over 10 years as a biostatistician in the pharmaceutical industry.  She is also an organizer of the meetup groups NYC URGs and Allies in Data Science and NYC PyLadies.
