Within a digital world, companies in a wide variety of disciplines require a communications team that specializes in media outreach. Our panel investigates the way that jobs in the realm of communications look different across countries and industries, highlighting the importance of promotion, content creation, and professional communication. Our experiences differ greatly in terms of our company’s missions, as our panelists worked in places from humanities-centered nonprofits to biomedical service companies. Attendees can expect to learn about how cross-disciplinary digital marketing can be a way for students to learn important skills such as journalistic writing, social media content creation, event coordination, and more, as well as how these techniques relate to our college experiences and beyond.
