About this Event
An intercollegiate event since 1924, the Glascock Poetry Contest is the oldest continuously-running poetry contest for undergraduate students in the country. Students are judged by a panel of three distinguished poets.
The contest will take place on Friday and Saturday, March 29-30. Glascock weekend will feature three main events: a roundtable discussion with our poet-judges, the Glascock Intercollegiate Poetry Contest, and a morning of poetry readings by this year’s judges. The Conversation with the Judges is an informal conversation that centers on our poet-judges, focusing on poetry, its writing, and the poet’s place in the world today.
