For members of the class of 1982.

This is an historical fiction about the life of MHC’s esteemed alum and first female Cabinet member, Frances Perkins, Secretary of Labor under FDR.

Stephanie Dray is a New York Times, Wall Street Journal & USA Today bestselling author of historical women’s fiction. Her award-winning work has been translated into eight languages and tops lists for the most anticipated reads of the year. She lives in Maryland with her husband, cats, and history books. Stephanie's work explores western civilization's forgotten founding mothers, from Cleopatra's Daughter to Alexander Hamilton's wife, and the women to whom we owe our deepest gratitude and respect. She hopes readers will love these amazing women who found courage in history's dark hours, and that these stories will help us to find the courage within ourselves to face the challenges of our own generation.
