Mount Holyoke is committed to reducing our environmental impact on the planet and has set the goal of carbon neutrality by 2037, the College’s bicentennial. The biggest driver to this success is the implementation of the geothermal project to transition our campus heating and cooling, which will reduce the campus’ greenhouse gas emissions by 80% by 2030. This vital work is happening across campus, including on Skinner Green, which impacts the location of some Reunion events. This year's Community Cookout will take place on the Rugby Field, adjacent Kendall Sports & Dance Complex.
