This panel focuses on the theme of education, both in public and behind the scenes organization and creation of resources. All of our members were involved in designing the experience of visitors and learners in one way, shape, or form. Our work included the creation of professional development for educators, archival research in a historic opera, and public education at both art and history museums. A throughline of our summer experiences was maintaining and creating access to learning resources, the specifics of which will be explored further within our designated fields during our panel. The key question we will explore is how one can work within an institution to break down barriers previously used to make the fields of art and education inaccessible.
