Working at different times and in different places, our internships all had to do with approaching large amounts of data using qualitative methods and pulling out ideas and conclusions. While working in fields ranging from sociology to biology to political science, we approached our research using similar methods and transformed large sources of information into comprehensive data that is more accessible to the new publics. Our panel members worked in archival environments, libraries, and the public sphere, using a combination of information management software, literary analysis, and real-world interactions to further our work.
