About this Event
11 Gateway Road, South Hadley, MA
Over the summer, our panel worked in a variety of areas, ranging from chemotherapy synthesis to social behavioral analysis, auditory analysis, and depressive-like behavioral analysis of rats. Three of our panelists conducted computational neuroscience lab research on different cognitive processes. These include generalizations and decision making, moral psychology, speech perception, behavioral and data analysis. We each used different methods in our research, which demonstrates the diversity of research techniques. Our other panelist helped develop a new approach to creating treatments for cancerous cells by optimizing past reaction conditions and providing an alternative to previous compounds. Through our unique experiences, we all developed scientific skills and gained important insights on how to better our community using the skills we learned.
