An in community dialogue for all faculty and staff who share the identity of White. The session will be facilitated by DEI staff via Zoom.

The 1619 Project is a collection of essays and literary works observing the 400th anniversary of the beginning of American slavery. As project lead author, Nikole Hannah-Jones writes "No aspect of the country that would be formed here has been untouched by the years of slavery that followed." As we at MHC engage with this important material as a full community we also value and appreciate “in community” spaces where we can learn and engage with those who share an aspect of our identity.
