About this Event
In this Alumnae Association webinar, designed for those within the first ten years of their careers, financial planner Gillian McCarthy ’12 debunks personal finance myths and misconceptions to provide guidance for these crucial years. Topics to be addressed include employer benefits, tax planning, and saving for major goals such as property purchases and retirement.
Gillian McCarthy is a Certified Financial Planner at J.H. White Financial. She graduated from Mount Holyoke College in 2012 and majored in Economics. Today she works with clients to create financial plans and manage their investments. She does this by taking a deep dive into their financial situation and then provides actionable steps to bring a clear and strategic plan to their personal finances. Outside of the office, Gillian stays busy helping her husband with projects on their small farm in southeastern Pennsylvania. She is active with the Dressage at Devon horse show committee, the National Association of Financial Planners and the Royersford Business Association.
