Nov 28 + 29 Exploring Future Possibilities in Environmental Careers

Are you interested in pursuing opportunities in environmental fields? Join the Miller Worley Center for the Environment in exploring future possibilities on November 28 and 29 during a series of events!

This two-day series of events will kick off with our annual Environmental Studies Alum Panel. Environmental Studies Alum Panel on November 28th at 4:30 pm on Zoom. The panel will showcase alums who pursued environmental studies during their college careers or who are working in related fields. On Wednesday, November 29, join the MWCE for a workshop on field skills led by Angie Patterson at 4:30 pm-5:15PM in Hooker Auditorium. Students will learn what to expect when venturing into field research including the skills that are necessary to have a productive, enriching, safe, and healthy field experience. (Tea, coffee and cookies provided.)

Same Day! Following that workshop, at 5:15 pm-6:15pm in Hooker Auditorium, join our keynote speaker, Sybil Gotsch to hear about her journey as a student, professor, and researcher in the field of environmental studies.
