About this Event
This in-person workshop will provide a safe and brave space for International students to gain foundational skills to assist them in their journey towards being antiracist by: reflecting on their own ideas, worldviews, values, beliefs, and behaviors; understanding social justice and diversity terminology centering race and racism in the U.S.; and discussing how racial oppression manifests at MHC, the US and beyond by drawing connections between the U.S. and other countries and/ or potential forms of bias in their native cultures.
Our hope is that International students leave the workshop with additional skills to support them in being an inclusive and proactive MHC community member who understands what it means to be an advocate, ally, and accomplice to ALL members of the Mount Holyoke community.
