This panel highlights both independent and collaborative research across politics and history with a focus on storytelling and narrative development. The panelists focused their research on cpmpaign narratives, colonialism and sustainability, museum archival preservation, and curation and demographic change. Attendees will learn about a collection of individual projects that explore archival work and learning from the past to understand the present. Panelists represent a variety of fields, including chemistry, politics, sociology, history, and anthropology. From studying green hydrogen and the renewable energy revolution to learning about museum curation and operations, they spent the summer employing diverse practices to craft documents and data. Through multidisciplinary approaches, the panelists discuss the processes behind storytelling and how we come to the stories we hear from history books to everyday life.
