Join us for a roundtable discussion to honor Karen Remmler, Mary Lyon Professor of Humanities and Chair of German Studies, on the eve of her retirement.

During her 33 years at Mount Holyoke, from 1990 to the present, Karen Remmler has been a tireless supporter of the College, serving as a member of multiple committees on campus, most notably as co-director of the Harriet L. and Paul M. Weissman Center for Leadership and the Liberal Arts from 2000 to 2005 and as Director of the Five College Women's Studies Research Center from 2011-2014. She has chaired a number of departments in addition to her home department of German Studies, and she has served as co-chair of the Five College German Studies Faculty Seminar. In recognition of her excellent in teaching over many years, Karen received the Mount Holyoke College Faculty Award for Teaching this March.
