An intercollegiate event since 1924, the Glascock Poetry Intercollegiate Poetry Competition is the oldest continuously-running poetry contest for undergraduate students in the country. Students are judged by a panel of three distinguished poets. This year, our six poet-contestants will represent Hollins University, Mount Holyoke College, Smith College, Spelman College, Vassar College, and Wellesley College.

The 2025 contest will feature two public events: the Contestants' Reading on Thursday, April 3, and the Judges' Reading—followed by the announcement of the winner—on Friday, April 4.
