About this Event
13 Gateway Road, South Hadley, MA
What do construction, geology, economics, art, and art history have in common? Hands-on work! Working in the field in order to pursue a deeper knowledge of art and architecture allows us to better understand the world around us and all of the nitty-gritty in each industry. Join Anna, Julia, Marissa, and Shira as they speak about their experiences working in the tattoo industry, interning at a geotechnical engineering firm, designing and building a house, and sketching the built environment. Learn about the practical applications of our academic interests and the value of fieldwork.
