About this Event
We invite all community members (alum, students, faculty and staff) to participate in this healing space designed to help everyone who may need time to process and explore their feelings of living through difficult times of trauma to living within the current constraints of global unrest. This session will be guided by Tomiko Jenkins, LCSW, a clinician who is a senior level administrator in an academic institution.
Tomiko Jenkins (she/her/hers) is a licensed clinical social worker and currently serves as the Dean of Student Life at Bryn Mawr College in which she provides oversight of Counseling Services, Health Services, Case Management, Residential Life, Student Engagement, and Title IX. She has a BA in Sociology from The University of North Carolina at Charlotte and a MSW from The University of Georgia. With over 15 years of experience in the mental health field, has been in private practice, worked on a trauma unit in a military hospital, and served as a family therapist for families involved in the foster care system. Tomiko is a trauma-informed practitioner that centers the mind/body/spirit healing journey.
