This event is an homage to Gloria Anzaldúa, a self-described “chicana dyke-feminist, tejana patlache poet, writer, and cultural theorist,” whose literary works transformed feminist theory and opened the door for radical writings of feminists of color.

This interactive informal gathering is an annual event hosted by the Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion where we gather together to read from great poets, artists, activist scholars and more.

We invite all artists and art enthusiasts to join this special tribute to Queer and Trans Black, Indigenous and People of Color artists. This year’s special guest facilitators are I-SHEA and Holyoke poet, Mishie Serrano.
