Eddie S. Glaude Jr. discusses "On W.E.B DuBois' 'Of the Faith of the Fathers' and Black Democratic Professionalism."

Glaude is the James S. McDonnell Distinguished University Professor at Princeton, where he is a member of the religion department and also chair of African American Studies.  

This is the inaugural lecture on Religion in American Public Life. This annual lectureship is made possible by a gift from Jane F. Crosthwaite and given in honor of the service to the religion department by the administrative staff, Anna May Dion, Laurie Dion, and Sue Rusiecki.
