As part of the ongoing series of events in honor of the distinctive legacies of racial justice activists Coretta Scott King and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Mount Holyoke College Presents an Intergroup Dialogue (IGD) Workshop.

This is an application only session with future opportunities later in the semester.

The workshop is designed for MHC faculty and staff invested in building their fluency for addressing race and other diversity-related issues in the classroom and in co-curricular programming.

Dr. Kristie Ford (Presidential Fellow at Mount Holyoke College) and Dr. Sarah Goodwin (former IGD instructor at Skidmore College) will facilitate the two-days, which will be both theoretical and experiential – emphasizing learning by doing. Participants will learn about foundational work related to IGD theory and pedagogy and engage in personal self-reflective exercises that illustrate dialogic pedagogy.

This session is full.
