Following the great success of our annual Monsters Ball in the past few years, and in response to many requests from parents and teachers in our community, the orchestra has created our inaugural *Kids Edition* of the Monsters Ball.

We invite adults and children ranging from infants in arms to young people in Junior High to come dressed in costumes and dance to waltzes and polkas by Johann Strauss II. In between, enjoy soundtrack music from some of our movies such as Star Trek, and Phantom of the Opera. To further enrich the experience, there will be a show and tell section where members of the orchestra circulate among the audience to introduce their instruments. You will be able to experience the sound of these instruments up close and personal and to ask our musicians any questions you might have regarding their instrument. We will also present the final movement of Sibelius's 2nd Symphony to give everyone a taste of symphonic orchestral repertoire.

Tickets are priced at a very affordable $3 per child, and $5 for adults to help us cover costs. Adults accompanying groups of 4 or more children enter for free.

In our inaugural year, we are also pleased to offer children on financial assistance free entry to our concert. Please indicate in the attached order form, the number of students who require financial assistance, and we will try to assist where possible.

Please take a moment to consider if this compliments the arts offering at your school, and to pass on the information to interested parties. If you have any queries at all, please email us at tng@mtholyoke.edu. We look forward to having you at this fun-filled event!
