Join us for this beloved annual tradition!

Kicking off at 9 am, Loyalty class members will lead all returning alums and seniors to Mary Lyon's grave for the Laurel Chain Ceremony where seniors weave laurel around Mary Lyon's Grave and sing "Bread and Roses," marking the transition from Mount Holyoke student to Mount Holyoke alum.

Parade will be held rain or shine.

Alum relatives
Alum relatives of students in the Class of 2024 are invited to march in the Laurel Parade on Saturday, May 18, 2024. If you wish to march in the parade, please wear an all-white outfit of your choosing and assemble around the Abbey/Buckland circle at the “Alum Relatives” sign (toward the end of the circle farthest from Mary E. Woolley Hall) no later than 8:45 am on Saturday, May 18. The Alumnae Association will provide an “Alum Relatives” banner for the group.
