The Department of Music welcomes guest artist Tony Kirk this Sunday in McCulloch Auditorium!

This two-part event begins with a lecture-recital at 3 pm. Tony will begin with a talk based on his dissertation research - “Research-Based Strategies for Musical Practice.” He will also perform a movement of Lukas Ligeti’s “Thinking Songs."

The second event is a rehearsal at 3:50 pm. Tony will be working with the students in the Mount Holyoke Percussion Ensemble in preparation for their concert on November 24.
