The work exhibited in this panel spans several disciplines that all use data collection as a central part of research. Whether for archival purposes, technological applications, or business analysis, how each panel member handled data shaped the success of their project. One member built a retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) system linking the company's internal AI assistant to onboarding materials; another worked with Prime Video to improve how the platform manages information about its shows and movies; and another created an AI sentiment analyzer to assess customer feedback and detect emerging trends; the last member of the panel worked as an arts management assistant to a local artist to aid in the process of archiving their studio work. Together, these projects show how data-driven approaches can create unique solutions across diverse fields.
