Join with students from Amherst, Bowdoin, Middlebury, and Williams Colleges to learn more about the Marshall Scholarship, which recognizes high academic, leadership, and ambassadorial potential to study for a graduate degree in any field or institution in the UK.
Marshall Scholarship Alumni will discuss their experiences studying in the UK, dealing with cultural adjustments, participating in the community of scholars and more. Panelists will share how their own backgrounds influenced how they approached and navigated this highly competitive and rewarding opportunity.
Panelists include Michaella Moore (Howard University) currently studying Medical Anthropology at SOAS – University of London; Katie Huston (UMass) COO of Nal'ibali, South Africa's national reading for enjoyment campaign, who studied Global Political Economy at the University of Sussex and Social Anthropology at the London School of Economics; and, Rachel Shalev (Williams) current an attorney with Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe in New York, who received her master’s degrees in modern European history from St. Andrews and in legal and political theory from University College London.
