CIMIT, a leading math research institute in Guanajuato, Mexico is Mount Holyoke's newest approved study abroad program!

The program will be hosting a virtual information session on their study abroad programs on Monday, February 27 at 7 pm.

Summer 2023: Three week intensive course (June 16–July 7, 2023) about ordinary differential equations, modeling and computing simulations

Fall semester: Mathematical Tools for Modeling

Spring semester: Mathematical Tools for Data Science

CIMIT programs are intended for students majoring in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or any major with a strong grounding in mathematics

• At least one Linear Algebra course and Differential and Integral Multivariate Calculus courses are required.
• Interested in exploring mathematics to a deeper, more sophisticated level
• Eager to experience life in a different culture
• For participants interested in the Semester in Mathematical Tools for Data Science, at least one introductory programming course is required.
• For participants interested in the Semester in Mathematical Tools for Modeling, an elementary Probability or Probability and Statistics course is required.
