Tamara Sigler (she/her) is a Vice President at Capital One. Tamara is the product manager for the Credit Card Acquisitions Platform responsible for the front end user interface that customers use to apply, the credit decisioning models and policy, and the data and analytic environment for monitoring and analysis. Before this role, Tamara ran Capital One's Center for Machine Learning and also worked in the internal corporate strategy team. Outside work Tamara lives with her husband, her 6 month old baby girl, and since the beginning of covid, her friend who fled a 1 bedroom apartment in manhattan and is quaranteaming for the foreseeable future.

Tamara has spent much of her time at Capital One helping people figure out what they are great at, find a job they want to do for 40 hours a week, and achieve their career goals. She will be joining the Math Stat Tea on 11/19 to talk a bit about her career path, what it's like being a cis woman in a historically male dominated industry, and life at Capital One (if you want to join).
