 l health challenges commonly experienced in higher education settings. Ment
 al Health First Aid (MHFA) is developed by people with lived experience of 
 mental health challenges and professionals. This course teaches early inter
 vention techniques and improves mental health literacy. MHFA will help you 
 understand\, identify and respond to signs and symptoms of mental health an
 d substance use challenges with our student(s).\n\nWe will cover the follow
 ing topics:\n\nThe relevance of mental health to the campus communityRisk f
 actors and protective factors specific to the higher education setting.Usin
 g the MHFA Action Plan (ALGEE) in scenarios designed specifically for facul
 ty and administration to support our studentsNational\, campus and communit
 y mental health resourcesOnce you complete the training\, you will feel mor
 e confident supporting your student through a mental health challenge\, und
 erstand campus resources and how to access them\, as well as learning how t
 o use the ALGEE framework for early intervention.\n\nPlease email Ju Hong\,
