 alytical chemist that specializes in separations sciences and macromolecul
 ar interactions. In this discussion he will talk about the different case 
 studies (food adulteration\, lead in water\, and others) that are the cent
 erpieces of the analytical chemistry course at Mount Holyoke. In addition 
 to creating interest and teaching technical skills\, we will also look at 
 how these case studies teach transferable skills to help students in their
  future scientific endeavors.
