 s of web development. Yu Wati was a research assistant at Mount Holyoke Co
 llege's iMero lab (Intelligence Medical Robotics) focusing on improving th
 e sensory haptics of surgical robots through image processing and machine 
 learning. Shamya explored the possible driving forces behind differing cel
 l division timings in embryonic stem cells at the Max Planck Institute in 
 Dortmund\, Germany.\n\nWe worked in vastly different fields and countries 
 but we had one thing in common: learning in a self-sufficient way to navig
 ate the maze of research/industries in various settings that we have never
