Do you like rhythm games, virtual reality, and creating new content? Are you on campus and free the afternoons of January 10-14th? Then you should sign up for the Occulus Rift VR Course: Beat Saber Modding! Bring a song and your dancing arms, and sign up for this inaugural course.

This course is a one-week, not-for-credit intensive, with an expectation of 20 hours of in-class work and optional out-of-class work, based on student-controlled factors. By the end of the course, students will have created a finished level of the game Beat Saber, based on a song of their choosing. Students will learn about modifying video games, copyright law, basic rhythm theory, how to give good feedback, and virtual reality. Students will be expected to test, refine, and demonstrate their own levels, as well as test and provide feedback on other's levels.

Sign-ups are on a first come basis, and are limited to 10 participants. Sign up for the course.

Please message Tayloe with any questions.
