Panel Title: Creative Connections: Expanding Ideas of the Arts

What do museums, news media outlets, and recording studios have in common? Inspiring the community through art! The four panelists will discuss their internships in local creative spaces. The first speaker, Anna, will be discussing how the use of arts and crafts helps create a fun and engaging environment for teaching art history to both kids and adults. The second speaker, Elise, will share her insights about the recording studio and music production. The third speaker, Sarah, will highlight how local art galleries contribute to a sense of integration within one’s community. The final speaker, Max, will describe creating deep and meaningful connections in Amherst by working closely with a local news organization. This panel will explore the ups and downs of working in the creative field and highlight the various ways we create art across disciplines to build connections with one another.
