The arts have always been a diverse field, well-represented in the wide scopes of disciplines explored in this panel. Ranging from large-scale cooperative projects such as documentary filmmaking to community radio and individual visual art practice, the panelists will reflect on their work and research from this past summer. Through our involvement in different projects, we learned to take initiative, create by collaborating with others, and connect our work to wider communities and a larger arts practice. These experiences increased our clarity about our capacities and goals as emerging artists navigating creative careers. Our panel will serve as an opportunity for participants to reflect on the different ways to engage with creative practice and research in the arts.
